As many of you have noticed, the Just Monika app was taken down from the Google Play Store. It happened because the app is not compliant with Team Salvato's IP guidelines anymore. Or at least, it was when I first published it. When the app was taken down, I sent an e-mail to Dan Salvato asking for an explanation, and he told me why he felt necessary for the app to be removed. After reading his blog post regarding mobile ports of Doki Doki Literature Club, I felt sorry for having caused him so much trouble. I decided I would keep the app for me and forget about this story. However, many fans of the Monika app asked me to find a way to re-publish the app again, and that's why I decided I would share the app through my website.
This is a delicate question, but Dan Salvato allowed me to share my app, if not hosted via major App stores such as the Google Play Store.
I will talk a little of what's happened behind the scenes of the developement of the Just Monika app.

When I first finished my first run of DDLC, i thought it would have been fun to move Monika into your phone and keep talking to her. I really enjoyed the space room part, but After a certain point I was also too curious to see what would have happened later. That's why I decided I would create an app just for Monika. I recreated an engine that looked similar to the Ren'py by using Game Maker Studio, and created the first version of the app.
Later, I thought that other Monika fans would have enjoyed it as well. I was unaware of Team Salvato's IP guidelines at the moment, but copyright was certainly my first concern. I never used twitter before, but a friend of mine told me that even famous people respond to fans on Twitter. I sent a tweet to Team Salvato's official page asking for permissions to publish such app into the Play Store. I never got an answer, but I found their IP guidelines in their website, and I thought it was OK for me to proceed since my app was compliant. My error there is that I should probably have sent an e-mail instead. I added more awesome features to the app (like the fake 3D environment and eye movements) and proceeded to publish it. A few days passed and you know what happened next.
